So I guess this isn't the first time I've been reincarnated.

It's happened to me at least once before, and it seems like it was just as confusing then as it is now.

I wonder how different I am from those previous incarnations.

I don't know that it was. But my... my previous life's mom told me I was the reincarnation of someone that lived before.

Yeah. 'The Luminary'. And. I have a mark- a tattoo?- that just appeared on me. I'm kind of freaking out about that right now.

Do you really believe that? There's no scientific evidence for reincarnation, no logical evidence to reincarnation. Dead are dead and don't come back to have a do-over.

What makes you think that what the Bureau told you was real and not just part of some sadistic head game?

There's no scientific evidence, I know. Not on this world.

But Yggdrasil existed in another world, in my first memory. And reincarnation existed there, through Her. I've done a lot of research into Norse myths lately.

The tl;dr version though: I believe it.

Yggdrasil did not exist. It's fiction just like the story you're buying wholesale. Myths are just that.

Yes. I've heard plenty of conspiracies, but those are easy to come up with.

These memories, and everything that's happening.. A lot of it is making sense the more I think about them. They feel right, in a way.

A sword that I had before appeared next to me a few weeks ago, and now I have a tattoo now that I didn't have before. What sort of government agency implants a memory, sneaks into my house, leaves a sword there, then tattoos my hand? All without anyone knowing.

I don't know. I guess we die, and then our soul goes.. to Yggdrasil or wherever.. and then we're born like usual.

Experiencing memories of those previous lives seems like a rarity, though. I wonder why it's happening to us.
