So I guess this isn't the first time I've been reincarnated.
It's happened to me at least once before, and it seems like it was just as confusing then as it is now.
I wonder how different I am from those previous incarnations.

I was wondering why my comment didn't post

What makes you think that what the Bureau told you was real and not just part of some sadistic head game?

But Yggdrasil existed in another world, in my first memory. And reincarnation existed there, through Her. I've done a lot of research into Norse myths lately.
The tl;dr version though: I believe it.

Didn't you ever stop to consider there might be something more sinister going on?
[and then, because he has no idea what that mess of letters mean]
tl;dr?

These memories, and everything that's happening.. A lot of it is making sense the more I think about them. They feel right, in a way.
A sword that I had before appeared next to me a few weeks ago, and now I have a tattoo now that I didn't have before. What sort of government agency implants a memory, sneaks into my house, leaves a sword there, then tattoos my hand? All without anyone knowing.

Man, and I keep thinking it can't get any more confusing.

I can't imagine what reincarnation feels like...

Experiencing memories of those previous lives seems like a rarity, though. I wonder why it's happening to us.

Holding up all right? [If at least one of the two of them is, that'll be a victory in her book. Kinda.]

Do you think it's crazy to think that these memories might be real?

Though I guess that would only prove that reincarnation IS how we all got here. But man that's just crazy!

So hey uh, I have a tattoo now. It was just kind of there when I woke up- the same one my past self had. And I guess, the one my incarnation before that did.
