So I guess this isn't the first time I've been reincarnated.

It's happened to me at least once before, and it seems like it was just as confusing then as it is now.

I wonder how different I am from those previous incarnations.

I don't know. I guess we die, and then our soul goes.. to Yggdrasil or wherever.. and then we're born like usual.

Experiencing memories of those previous lives seems like a rarity, though. I wonder why it's happening to us.

Isn't Yggdrasil from Norse mythology? Do they belive in reincarnation?

In the sense that Yggdrasil represents the cyclical nature of life and the belief that no life ever truly ends, but instead exists in an unending state of natural transformation.

Nine worlds? That almost sounds like something that coincides with the Dante's Inferno and him writing there's nine levels of hell.

Nine is a popular number in old school stories and mythology.
