Is there anything I can bring along other than, say, a blanket to sit on or tinder for your fire? I considered cookies, as those would be easy to eat and wouldn't require dishware, but do you have a preference?

Some wood to keep the fire going would be great. I'd never say no to cookies, but don't worry about it too much.
