[Fell is filming from his work studio and seems to have forgotten to take off his apron, which has various paint stains on it. He's also wearing a pair of round glasses which he doesn't normally wear.]

I feel like I haven't been around all that much lately and for that I am terribly sorry. I really ought to keep up with you all, but work has gotten rather busy and--well, no one wants to hear about work.

[Other things have gotten busy as well, but angels don't talk about that sort of thing on public networks except when they forget themselves and DO discuss it, but that'll probably take some demonic influence to happen again. And by influence I really just mean presence.]

However, speaking of art, I DID want to come here to let you know about a charity event happening October 14th, hosted by a friend of mine. It will be located at [a place in Manhattan that I'm not naming because I did indeed fall down that rabbit hole of trying to look for a real place and in an effort to get this post out this decade, we're handwaving the location.]

It's a small art event to benefit programs supporting art education for children in need.

For $35 per person, supplies and refreshments will be included and lessons provided, should you like to follow lessons (though that is entirely optional). Normally this sort of thing, this "Paint and Sip" is done with wine, but she would like it to be family friendly, and so refreshments will include only non-alcoholic beverages. Children are welcome, though an adult is required for anyone 16 and under.

All proceeds will go towards the charities and funding future such events. There will also be a small art auction.

[ooc: now obviously this is just a thing that is happening and is not like an event. So idk if there will be conflicts with an actual event next month. But characters don't know these things (I don't either, tbh) so. yes. I'll try to make a top level mid next month for this, assuming nothing ingame prevents it from happening.]

[He begins to roll his eyes, and then what Anthony said dawns on him and he looks down at his apron.]

Oh, good grief. [And embarrassed, he pulls it off over his head, tossing it out of view with a glare at the apron, as if it has betrayed him. And then, annoyed at the apron on the floor, he briefly disappears to properly hang it up.]

Yes, now, what was that about tempting?

[ He might have leaned ever so much closer to the screen, watching the adorable struggle between angel and his apron. Even if most of it were off screen Anthony wouldn't have missed the eye roll! ]

How does a week near the beach sound?

[ See this was the part he was hoping not to have to explain in too great a detail. He could have been vague! Made it seem like some sort of tropical oasis instead of stumbling over his words and blurting out the horrible truth. ]

A creepy old Victorian that's definitely haunted situated on a cliff overlooking the Atlantic. There is a beach though, nice English beach.

[Alright, not at all what he anticipated. He was thinking a nice trip to the shore. Martha's Vineyard, perhaps, if they wanted to be truly fancy. Perhaps an ill-planned trip down south to the Gulf Coast or even some demonically financed holiday to Hawaii.]

That's quite a trip. Sounds positively [a pause] picturesque, though perhaps better suited to the next month.

What prompted this trip, Anthony? Is your mother alright?

[ Hawaii would have been nice. Warm probably, with fewer nights of terror involved. You had to admit it was an out of the box choice. ]

Mum's fine. It's the spooky Great Aunt's place. She's leaving for a week and wants a house sitter. I don't know why she could ask Mum to look in on the place, or Oliver... he actually lives a city away... No, has to be me...

[ A beat, in which he throws two other names quickly out there so that they might just go by unheard. ]

And Alec, and Ellie...

But no one else will be there! It's not going to be a dinner fiasco situation!

[Right, a house sitter. Though he supposed it was because Anthony was everyone's favorite.]

Well, I would love to go, though I'm surprised you got Alec to agree to any of this.

I'm surprised he agreed to it too. I'm surprised I agreed to it... Ellie, sure, she is a kind person, this sort of thing is typical for her.

Wait... You'd love to go??

[ He tried and failed to hold back the happy smile as a little more resistance had been expected given the poor Crowley family outing track record. ]

It's short notice. We have to be there by next week. Is that going to work out with your clients?

[He gives a pleased little smile at having surprised Anthony.]

This latest project is finished and I haven't committed to anything yet, so I think my clients can wait a week or so. I can be...spontaneous, and I've hardly had time with you. It could be nice, having a holiday together. Perhaps.

Nice, that is, assuming Alec doesn't parachute himself out over the Atlantic to avoid the lot of us.

...Have you, ah, told him you were planning on inviting me?

I, well, told him... yeah, well its on the network isn't it? It'll be fine! Don't worry about it.

I'll snag the tickets and swing by to pick you up. All you need to look after is packing your things and looking for a snake-sitter.

[A sigh and a roll of his eyes again.] You are a menace. [At this rate Alec really will bail on them and Aziraphale can't entirely blame him.]

Wait. [He realizes suddenly his missing some crucial information.] When exactly are you intending we leave for this trip?

[ There would be advantages to Alec bailing. It could end up just the two of them and Anthony couldn't see anything wrong with that! ]

Uhm... Monday. That a problem?

[But he hated to think Alec was bailing because of him!]

No, that's fine. I was just afraid you meant to leave today.

Not that I wouldn't like to sweep you away last minute for a whirlwind vacation, but I thought I had better give you some time to pack.

I'm afraid having a snake does put some limitations on my spontaneity. Not that your suggestion doesn't sound terribly romantic.

Next time we can smuggle him through customs. Pretend he is some kind of snakeskin belt, if he would stay still enough. I've always wanted one of those.

He is not a belt, Anthony! Creme is an intelligent little thing. While I'm sure he could pull it off, I think he deserves more respect than to be treated as a fashion accessory.

...And as much faith as I have in your abilities, I'd rather not risk getting him seized by Customs.

And he'll be fine. He is very social and outgoing. I'll inquire around, see if someone can take him in. Heaven knows, he even liked Alec, so he should get on with whoever I put him with. Who knows, he may take a liking and leave me for them.
