[Fell is filming from his work studio and seems to have forgotten to take off his apron, which has various paint stains on it. He's also wearing a pair of round glasses which he doesn't normally wear.]
I feel like I haven't been around all that much lately and for that I am terribly sorry. I really ought to keep up with you all, but work has gotten rather busy and--well, no one wants to hear about work.
[Other things have gotten busy as well, but angels don't talk about that sort of thing on public networks except when they forget themselves and DO discuss it, but that'll probably take some demonic influence to happen again. And by influence I really just mean presence.]
However, speaking of art, I DID want to come here to let you know about a charity event happening October 14th, hosted by a friend of mine. It will be located at [a place in Manhattan that I'm not naming because I did indeed fall down that rabbit hole of trying to look for a real place and in an effort to get this post out this decade, we're handwaving the location.]
It's a small art event to benefit programs supporting art education for children in need.
For $35 per person, supplies and refreshments will be included and lessons provided, should you like to follow lessons (though that is entirely optional). Normally this sort of thing, this "Paint and Sip" is done with wine, but she would like it to be family friendly, and so refreshments will include only non-alcoholic beverages. Children are welcome, though an adult is required for anyone 16 and under.
All proceeds will go towards the charities and funding future such events. There will also be a small art auction.
I believe that is all. If anyone is interested, I heartily suggest you look into the link I've provided below [Pretend I have provided a link, please.] And if you have any questions, I'll be happy to forward them along to her for answers.
It should be very fun and I do hope some of you can make it! [He grins at the camera, nose wrinkling with delight, and then turns it off to post.]
[ooc: now obviously this is just a thing that is happening and is not like an event. So idk if there will be conflicts with an actual event next month. But characters don't know these things (I don't either, tbh) so. yes. I'll try to make a top level mid next month for this, assuming nothing ingame prevents it from happening.]

[A chance to support local arts and artists and help out kids? He's so there.]

[Since if enough people were interested and the majority of them wanted to bring others, thr group could get big pretty quickly.]

[ One demonic presence coming right up. ]
October 14th? How about I let you tempt me into going to your charity shindig if I can tempt you into taking a trip?

Oh, good grief. [And embarrassed, he pulls it off over his head, tossing it out of view with a glare at the apron, as if it has betrayed him. And then, annoyed at the apron on the floor, he briefly disappears to properly hang it up.]
Yes, now, what was that about tempting?

[That and Gino was always looking for charity events to throw money at, even if the man himself had no interest in face time at such things. That's what she was for, after all...]
That and I'm sure I could shake a bit loose for a donation from my employer, of course...

I have a donor for bottled water and some funds for other items, but if you have contacts or would like to arrange something, I'd very much appreciate anything you may have at your disposal. Thank you!
[A pause.
Might as well save a phonecall and ask here. For some reason he's struck with the thought that she's the right person to ask, so he goes with his gut.]Although, I have a favor to ask, if you don't mind. We don't know each other all that well and I would hate to impose on such short notice, but I was thinking it might be interesting for young Elliott--
What I mean to say is: Do you have any pets?

I'll make some arrangements and help out. [The donation itself can be a surprise, and since it's fairly clear this is geared at least a bit towards children, she'll ask for simpler fare, arranged elegantly. It seems a good idea to her.]

Well, I will be going out of town rather...suddenly actually, this upcoming Monday, for a week or so, and I may need a sitter for Creme Brulee, my snake. I understand snakes are certainly not for everyone, and feeding one might be a bit uncomfortable, not to mention space for the enclosure and all of that, so I completely understand if you are unable to do it. But I was wondering if you and young Elliott might be interested in caring for him during that time.

This is wonderful Mr. Fell, I will most certainly be attending. I'll also talk to my cast mates and see if we can create a donation pool for me to bring with me.
Education is very important.
Re: [Video]
I heartily agree. Thank you, Mr. Porter. And I think our hostess will be very happy to see you in attendance. She's been a bit of a fan of yours for rather a long time.
Re: [Video]
I'm always honored to meet a fan....heck I'm amazed I have fans.

I go to sleep, they're there. I wake up, they're there. I feel like I'm being slowly smothered to death by a giant pillow.

... I didn’t realize you were a painter.
Re: Text
But no, they will be using acrylic. For many reasons: cost, time to dry (as these have to go home with the participants), and accessibility. Since there will be children of varying ages and abilities, she would prefer to avoid the necessity of a solvent like turpentine. I understand that acrylic is not everyone's cup of tea, but at this time, for this particular event, it seems best.

It's fine, I just got a little too excited. Acrylics are still cool and that's some decent reasoning for it. I'll still check it out. Thanks for the heads up! I'm really looking forward to it!
