Sometimes the way you speak--

You need people to test this and if you alienate everyone, you won't have anyone with powers left to test. I don't have powers, nor does your cousin. You'll have to be nice enough to someone who doesn't already like you.

But it's... it's ridiculous. It really is. It's not bloody personal. I'm not going to insult anyone who doesn't start whining about it. It needs to be done but people want their hand held. Can't they see it's more important than that? No of course not. You've got to go through the twelve step program of wining and dining and telling them they're pretty to even get a chance at something that'll benefit everyone in the long run.

I'm just asking for a bit of professionalism.

You don't need to hold hands, but no one wants a hostile workplace. If you're expecting professionalism out of people, you might consider treating them like you plan to work with them.

Well. Let's see. You never do this alone with any of these people, for one. You have someone with you who you trust to-- To not let them hurt you.

We do it outside, away from heavily populated areas. An old parking-lot or a remote part of a park, maybe--not in anyone's apartment building--but still somewhere an ambulance crew could arrive to quickly.

Anything dangerous or inherently harmful has to first be tested on an inanimate object... I don't know, maybe a piece of fruit or stuffed toy. You allow me to bring a fire blanket and any medical non-magical supplies I'd like and you consent to me using them on you if needs must.

At least one of our phones has to stay on, charged, with that location feature thing enabled, just in case we must call emergency.

If someone tries to use their powers maliciously, we leave.
