Isn't a spy story basically a scavenger hunt, too? The stakes are just higher.

Why would you raid a haunted house? Don't you just pay admission and go in?

I dunno. Has there been any spy movies out that weren't lame James Bond sequels of sequels of sequels?

I mean, if you're going to an actually HAUNTED HOUSE then you usually break in because they tend to not be, like, inhabited.

Spies aren't exclusive to movies.
There are NOVELS. But LeCarre has a few that have been made into a film: The Spy Who Came in from the Cold, among others.

I think the last spy anything I saw was Cars 2.

I mean, yeah. That's part of the thrill of it, so I've heard.

What in God's name is Cars 2?
Is that a sequel of that Furiously Fast series?

In terms of legal offenses, trespassing or breaking into a supposedly haunted house is not the hill I choose to be arrested on.

I wish it as good as a Fast and Furious movie! No, it was the sequel to that terrible Disney film Cars that was heavily marketed just to sell crappy toy cars with eyes.

That's fine. Getting arrested isn't really my thing either.

Not without a very good cause, no.

Even with a good cause, I think I'd rather get the heck out of dodge than have to deal with cops.

Depends. Certainly being arrested is not ideal, but sometimes standing up for something results in an arrest. Unfortunately, humanity being what it is, we would not have many of our civil liberties if not for people willing to risk arrest (or worse) to achieve them.

Oh I absolutely agree. But if I can find a way to escape, I would take it rather than get taken in.

Also my guardians don’t deserve to have to deal with that.
