No one freak out I am not freaking out- I am so freaking out but I think I can tell what people are feeling. Mentally tell. Not all people. Some people. It's weird. I don't really know for sure.

What if this is a computer chip planted in my head?

... but if there's a chip in your head... couldn't the MRI make that explode? Because a chip has metal in it?

No. I'm part of a study involving my prosthetic. And part of it involves using MRIs to map the development of neurological processes as I learn how to use it.

Huh. I don't know a lot about that kind of stuff, but that sounds complicated...

So, when you lose a limb, you still have the nerves that once connected to those limbs and they still function the same way as if you still had your limb. You think about using your hand a certain pay, your brain sends electrical signals down through your nerves the way it did with your biological hand. I have sensors in my prosthetic that read the electrical signals from those nerves. And with the help of computer programming, I can use my prosthetic hand fairly similarly to how my biological hand works.
