I have tried to keep it clean, but my medical skills are mediocre at best. [Despite York's best attempts to shoo her off, the Mom is strong in this one--as York is well aware!]

Though I can be a pair of hands, or cover, as you may need.

[the new face is a surprise, but a pleasant one, as he wasn't expecting help. Martin immediately takes a knee next to York and opens the kit, going for peroxide first and foremost.]

I don't need to tell you this is going to sting, I'm sure. But fair warning.

[he doesn't have time for more bedside manner than that, and pours it on, setting off a sea of tiny hissing white bubbles over the scrape]

[ He hadn't had this kind of repair on a cut in a long time. He hadn't skinned his knee in a long time, though. ]

[Yotsuyu nodded, moving off to give the men a bit of privacy, and keep an eye out for droids. This way, York could also, maybe, keep a bit of his dignity. She was careful and quiet, keeping the laser rifle she'd appropriated from a droid close at hand.]

Seems clear for now, but we might want to find somewhere to hole up if this is going to take a while. [She doubts it, honestly, but best to be open about that sort of thing. Give plenty of warning, if necessary!]

I just need a moment more to let it clear, then I can gauze it and cover it. That'll do for long enough for us to move to safer cover so I can see if it needs stitches. Do you think you can put weight on it, York?

Mm...yeah, I do. It's a little sting-y right now, but it should be better in a minute, I think.

Have we a location in mind? Damned if I didn't wish I had acquired one of those flying platforms. It wouldn't carry the three of us, of course, but we could run and York could fly, then...

"I've got one of the hovering ... motorcycle things. York can ride that if we can keep up," Martin says, already packing up his things. "There's a place I saw on my way over here that looked abandoned and safe enough. Used to be a Williams-Sonoma, if memory serves."

He's actually not hurt that bad, but that sounds awesome.

"Get it over to me and I can climb on, I'll be fine."

"Rule number one of being a good field medic," Martin mutters to himself as he heads for the end of the alley, shaking his head in amusement even as he's keeping an eye out for trouble. "Always know how to rally your patient."

As soon as Martin returns with the vehicle York hops up onto his good leg.

"This thing is awesome."

He swings the injured leg over the cycle and mounts it easily.

"Where do we want to head next, then? Back to Manhattan?"
