I recognize large portions of this from my memories. Be careful, but these... aggressors are nowhere near as dangerous as they may first appear.
If anyone needs help getting back to a safer location like your apartment, I'm here.
And I'm armed and familiar.

I take it you know what's going on?
no subject
Yes?
Both.
I know what these things are because I remember them but I don't know how my memories are here.

Is it odd they seem vaguely familiar?
no subject
Yes.
And I think it may be, but right now I think it may be for the best.
Are you safe?
no subject
I am home, but I'm not sure how brick walls will withstand robots with guns.
Are you safe? Your expertise and direction here would be appreciated.

[ That was by far the most important question, before he suggested anything else. ]
no subject
No. I'm trying to use the fact that there appears to be no one on my block but myself to remain calm about it.
Is your part of the city empty?

And of course the killer droids and the feeling that they all felt so familiar. The latter being disconcerting all on its own.
But now just didn't feel like the time to really examine why he felt some connection to the droids. Or why he knew to call them droids rather than robots or androids.
He didn't have long to wait to stew in these intense feelings after telling Ben he needed him.
He opened the door swiftly to let him.
"Okay, I'm following your lead on this because you seem to understand the most. Also, hello, I'm very glad to see you and that you came for me. I've just never faced death before, so my thoughts are a little disconnected."

"Okay, first things first. Those things have weapons that can kill you, but you're not really facing death now. I promise, you have a thousand times the brain power and mobility they do. You're okay."
no subject
"Alright, what do we do?"

One thing at a time and that really was figuring out, first, what Bail needed.
no subject
Maybe a strength in numbers thing, but there was no way around it, Bail didn't really have the skills to go it alone even if the droids were easy to outsmart. He may have fired a few rifles in his life, but at nothing more than a standing target in a range.

They're not smart. You need help?
no subject
They're about to reach us, one sec...
[ It's a couple of minutes before York turns the feed back on. ]
I got its fucking gun! It's a laser gun! It's awesome.

It's called a blaster. Go forth and have fun target shooting robots. Try to stay safe, but you're competent and they're stupid. Enjoy what you can of this bullshit.
