That's one of those video game things, right? ... Well, everyone needs an outlet. I'd suggest an arcade, but that wouldn't go well either, would it?

Given the rate and randomness of how things turn into this ice cream, I think I should stay away from other people's places of business.

Tell me about it. My keys turned into them for three hours last night. I had to go to the bar down the street until they changed back, and even then my first round of beer was a dish of the damn stuff for half an hour.

In that case, I did try, out of curiosity. I thought it might at least have a sort of malty aftertaste from the beer. But no. Still lemon. By the time it changed back most of the foam was gone and it wasn't a full pint ... I suppose that had something to do with the fact that I tried to eat it.

Did it taste good?

It ... tasted like lemon sherbert, really. I've never been a fan. Once it was beer again, it ... tasted a little like a lemon shandy. It was tolerable, but it wasn't the porter I'd ordered by a long shot.

... You've been here a while. Do you think if I invited the Different to a mixer of sorts, I'd get a decent turnout?

(Un)fortunately, the only thing I absolutely direly need returned in working order is my snake's heatlamp.

Technically I have two, but one is a tad more demonic than the other.

Creme Brulee. He's a hognose snake, or so I've been informed. Clever, adorable little thing and he knows it, too. He loves attention and his favorite pasttime seems to be making my phone do odd things.

That's a cool snake. Are snakes hard pets to keep?

Aside from feeding him frozen-thawed creatures, no, not really. He's got a lovely little box he lives in except when he wants to cause trouble or socialize.

He's quite intelligent and does most of the keeping for himself, but then I gather he's not exactly a normal snake, either, so a raising a storebought snake may differ somewhat.

My memories suggest he's what one would call a Familiar. You know. Like a witch's cat.

Oh I assure you they seemed quite entertained ridiculing me.

Currently none. Although I've been trying my hand at a nifty little coin trick!

It could be quaint. Not sure what I would use them for, however. Toasting my bread? Warming my cocoa? Summoning a sock from the depths of wherever they go?
