It's when his thumb comes down on the circle on his screen that he realizes the circle is red.
His jaw drops slightly, he clicks his tongue, and then he lowers the device a little. But he recovers quickly—not diving for the disconnect button, not faltering in his smirky little smile. ]
All right, so here's the deal: I got back from Texas and found out FMLA is garbage. Yeah. They hired someone else while I was gone and here I am, in New York city, unemployed. I mean, I could sue to get my job back, but let's get real, you know?

So here's the deal: Odd jobs. As many as you have for me to do, at all hours of the day or night. Tell everyone you know about me, too. I can do electrical work and plumbing. Some carpentry, too.
