For those wondering what I do. I wasn't part of this specific test, I can't show you what I actual work on. I'd get fired and face federal charges.

But it's like this.

Things blow up. A lot. And that's actually a good thing - you will teach us so much SN4. May you rest in pieces and when we make it to Mars, we will pour one out for you.

SN1 imploded and SN3 collapsed.

These things happen a lot.

I can't imagine how many hours went into building those things only to have stuff like that happen. Even after all the checks and stuff.

SN5, SN6, and SN7 are already in the works, and now they'll be built better based on what was learned here. Just like SN1, SN2, and SN3 got us to this point.

All the equations in the build could be right, but until the physical thing exists, in the real world, we still don't know how a machine will work or react without testing it. Explosions are for safety.

All of that testing and exploding is what got us to this today: the first commercial manned space flight. Total success.
