[Currently sitting in a tiny room with lots of posters of famous performing groups along the wall. There is an obvious loud bass sound that is making the walls practically shake but not loud enough that he can’t talk. Wei Wuxian turns on the video looking a little less then his normal smiling self. He is clearly wearing makeup and glitter is along his cheeks. Dressed perhaps a bit more sparkly then the last time he met most of the people he is talking to.]

I think I've come off a little strong to some people lately..so I wanted to apologize. I've only had one memory so far so I can't really begin to understand a lot. I didn't realize how much of a stress it was or that you could get powers so..

[A knock comes at the door and a voice can be heard, "Xian, you're on in ten!"]

Got it!

[He turns back to the screen with a sheepish look on his face.]

Anyway..if I ever seem too pushy..I guess I just get a little excited sometimes. I've never had a family so to have this group that shares something with me..it kind of felt like I did for the first time. And so I really want to look out for everyone. Even if I haven't really accepted this 'gift' or whatever it is that has been given...if anyone ever needs to talk or just wants a distraction from their memories, you can totally give me a ring.

[He reaches up and rubs the side of his nose with a finger, unsure if he should even really be on the network.]

I guess that's all I want to say..It really is nice to meet all of you on here.

[ He tried to think back on the conversation too but his mind was way too foggy with drink. ]

The New York Botanical Garden. I'm the head of living collections. I make sure all the plants are doing well, work with them when they aren't, help plan events that involved the plants... ooo tons of planty things.

Wow..that must be pretty hard work. What kind of events are there that focus on plants?

[He hasn't ever really explored the Botanical Gardens but now knowing someone that puts a lot of work into them..maybe he should.]

We just installed an art exhibit, KUSAMA: Cosmic Nature. Works by the artist all over the gardens with plantings to match. It took us a ridiculous amount of time to get it all ready. And there was the Gala before that. Meet and Greet with the artist...

[ Unfortunate life choices... Anthony sipped his drink. ]

You ever wish for a do-over?

A do-over? [How about that little phone call the other night...]

Yeah..you could say I've had wishes of some do-overs. [Sips his drink.]

Why? Did something happen at one of your events?

[ Yea after he had asked it occurred to him Wei had a very recent bought of screw ups himself. Well, they could commensurate their bad moves over a glass of purple stuff. ]

Ohhh yeah, something happened. I asked my long term girlfriend to marry me at the Gala on Sunday...

[ Before Wei could burst into a round of congratulations Anthony took a deep breath and continued. ]

By Monday night I had called it off and started dating a man.

[ But wait it gets better! ]

Alec had his attack at about the same time the family found out so calls of congratulations have turned into calls about him and my mental health... Oh, not over the man thing. I never mentioned that part to Grace, I didn't have time to, but I confessed about the whole memory thing and being a potential demon... For some reason they think that makes me unhinged.

[It's a good thing his glass was sitting on the table because he probably would have dropped it.]

That's one hell of a weekend..[And now he drinks..a lot of his drink as he lets all that information swirl in his brain.]

So basically now your family thinks you should be in a mad house or rehab of some sort. [reasons to be glad he doesn't have a family]

So which part would you do-over? Not propose to your girlfriend?

[ One hell of a weekend, Anthony agreed and would have toasted the observation only he appeared to have finished his drink some time during all that. He couldn't even recall when but in the spirit of getting hammered and forgetting it all he asked for another of the same. ]

It would be more normal to say I wish I would have stayed away from the guy. I've only known him a month... but it feels like so much longer! I was going to! We had a meeting planned and I was going to call it off, everything, just end everything... only when I saw him the opposite happened.

I wish I had never proposed to Grace. She got hurt, Alec got hurt, I might be looking at a straight jacket, and I did it all to myself.

Ahh..[It's like a light switch just turned on the light bulb in Wei Wuxian's brain. He is definitely going to need more alcohol but lucky for him the waitresses don't usually even wait for his glass to be empty.]

So the do-over goes way back. So this guy..is it like, fate or something? Or more simple like lust? Cause if you broke an engagement over lust that's pretty crappy..but if it's more then that..like some sort of destiny then no matter what choices you made the outcome might be the same. Some force may be pulling you together and there is no way to turn it down. Sucks for the other parties still..but you never could have seen that coming.

Does he also get the visions?

I mean, I don't hate them. I think I prefer ugly sweater vests, though.

So like, all of New York City? Ya, it sucks.

No, sorry, it doesn't. I haven't met anyone who's found the Bureau's network comforting.

I don't know..I find meeting the others to be kind of nice. We all have something in common. I don't really like the Bureau but I like the other people with visions.

[He laughs a little, kind of enjoying the mental image he is creating with him in the ugly sweater vest.]

I didn't even know an ugly sweater vest was a thing but now I'm kind of living for it.

No way to turn it off or mute it?

[ He was absolutely smashed at this point so the words tumbled from him even though he had thought he would never say them again in front of anyone who wasn't Fell or Alec. ]

He's my spotted pumpkin.

[ Which would only make sense if one had seen a certain work at the gardens. ]

It always would have been him. I didn't know it when we first met but there is no doubt about it now. I've been having dreams about him...

[ Maybe that needed clarification. ]

The memory kind, though lust... mhh... that's a thing.

[ So drunk! ]

And he has been having memories with me in them. Apparently we were friends, or more, before we had these new lives.

[Wei Wuxian nods as he listens. It's all slowly making sense.]

So it is destiny..you were linked in the past and now you are linked here. It's kind of sweet in a way.

[He would almost like to find a past life soulmate..he wonders if there is a person like that in his.]

Why did that make your cousin upset? Because you hurt your fiance?

[Is this some crazy love square?]

Now you're prepared for next winter.

I can kind of turn it off if I put on music that's distracting. And there's some stuff from someone else's memories that helps. But it's not like I can just flip a switch.

We do have the concept in common, though almost everyone has different memories.

I have memories of living in a castle with super powered humans. What did you get? If you want to share, that is.

[ This received only a confused shrug. ]

Because he warned me? Because he got placed in the middle? I don't know... and he isn't going to tell me.

[There is a sigh and more drinking because wow..no wonder Anthony needed a drink..or ten.]

I'm sorry your life got so much more complicated this weekend. Wish I could help with more then just a few drinks.

[He'd hug the guy if he thought Anthony would like a hug.]

Even though people got hurt..I'm glad you found your soulmate. Not everyone is so lucky.

The drinks are good... Helps to numb things.

[ He said while diving in to splash around in his glass again. ]

You... have any family?

[To an artist (art restorer, in his case), there's so many variations and nuances to a color spectrum that Aziraphale doesn't even think this is an odd question. He makes a note of the answer.]

...Interesting. You know, I'm not sure if we naturally tend to look for thematic similarities between our normal world and the world in the visions as a comfort or justification--or if there is a genuine connection. But I don't think you're alone in finding elements of your reality and your vision overlap.

[He shakes his head.]

None that I know of. Was at an orphanage my entire life. Never adopted. A few foster homes but apparently I was too much trouble to keep for long.

[He doesn't seem upset by it, smirking a little as he says it.]

If I have a family by blood somewhere they don't want anything to do with me so I don't see any reason to pursue it.

So basically if you can live in a club you might be okay.

[He doesn't see anything wrong with that clearly.]

Uhh...let's just say I saw a whole lot of people die. Bloody, violent, swords through bodies kind of death. Not a great first experience.

Huh..good to know. Almost wonder what other similarities there might be. I mean..hopefully no swords through the body death kind of similarities..

Doesn't that also kind of lean towards the fact that some of these things..might have been implanted? If the Bureau knew where I worked then they easily could have added that into the vision they made me see.

[ Anthony stared down into his glass for long seconds after that. Here he had been thinking... well, maybe not having any family at all would be worse. It just sounded so incredibly lonely.

Any thoughts of asking for family related advice were set aside. ]
