[Currently sitting in a tiny room with lots of posters of famous performing groups along the wall. There is an obvious loud bass sound that is making the walls practically shake but not loud enough that he can’t talk. Wei Wuxian turns on the video looking a little less then his normal smiling self. He is clearly wearing makeup and glitter is along his cheeks. Dressed perhaps a bit more sparkly then the last time he met most of the people he is talking to.]

I think I've come off a little strong to some people lately..so I wanted to apologize. I've only had one memory so far so I can't really begin to understand a lot. I didn't realize how much of a stress it was or that you could get powers so..

[A knock comes at the door and a voice can be heard, "Xian, you're on in ten!"]

Got it!

[He turns back to the screen with a sheepish look on his face.]

Anyway..if I ever seem too pushy..I guess I just get a little excited sometimes. I've never had a family so to have this group that shares something with me..it kind of felt like I did for the first time. And so I really want to look out for everyone. Even if I haven't really accepted this 'gift' or whatever it is that has been given...if anyone ever needs to talk or just wants a distraction from their memories, you can totally give me a ring.

[He reaches up and rubs the side of his nose with a finger, unsure if he should even really be on the network.]

I guess that's all I want to say..It really is nice to meet all of you on here.

[ Anthony exhaled deeply, speaking as the air escaped. ]

Yeah... don't worry about it. I found him in time. It all worked out.

Not my first time being alone. But I do enjoy being unique.

I've tried to look into the clothing..but it's really hard to pinpoint and history was never my strong point. But they looked kind of like clothing from the Shang or Tang Dynasty periods. Considering most of what I saw was soaked in blood..i definitely wasn't too focused on the details of the clothes. I just saw colors...and it was definitely purple against red.

Of course I'd end up with some sort of historical memory and not something I can relate to...

[he doesn't reply. What can he say? But it makes his skin crawl a little bit, the sincerity of all of it. He doesn't even know you! Nor does he care to at this point. It must be America. That's got to be it.]

[He fidgets a little in his seat and pulls at a loose sequins on his sleeve.]

Humans have always been inherently human. While you maybe cannot relate to the exact context, I'm sure you can relate to the emotions and situation in your own way.

As for the clothing, a good number of Different have researched their visions at the library, but I may know someone who could look into the history around this one. You said purple and red garments fighting each other, hanfus of probably the Shang or Tang Dynasties? Would you call the purple more red or blue in hue? The preference in dye may provide a hint--if I recall, purple dye was enormously expensive in China, so the shade may indicate something.

[He might look rather perplexed by this question. How is he supposed to know the difference in purples? He tries to consider that for a moment. Not that he wants to dive back into that memory much but maybe he can find a comparison. He looks around the room for anything that might match the shade.]

I'd say it was definitely more blue..a really deep purple.

You know it's strange..the other thing I remember was there was Lotus flowers carved into the buildings. I guess that's why I didn't really think it was real at first and just my imagination in overdrive. Because, this club is called "The Lotus."

[ Another sigh. ]

No... I'm not mad at you. It's just been a Hell of a week.

[Relief washes over him like a tidal wave. His smile finally returns.]

I don't suppose you need someone to talk about it with. I already said I'm open to anyone who wants to talk or needs a distraction.

It's a club called "The Lotus". I can send you the address. I'm on pretty soon and my set is usually about an hour. Then I do whatever I want and wander around the club. I can tell them you are coming so they should let you right in.

[He types in the address and sends it.]

Don't be disappointed if I can't make it. It depends really on how Alec is doing and about a dozen other things, but God... I could use a drink.

[ He saved this message for later just in case. ]

You'll have your own personal server and the drinks are on me. Your cousin obviously comes first, but the offer is open ended.

Are you a performer?

I am. A singer and dancer. I do a show a couple times a week. But I kind of felt like it wasn't going to be a good one today unless I..came on here for a few minutes. Does that make sense?

You like the ugly sweaters? Even the ones that have the lights and talk and covered in pompoms?

[As if he can talk to anyone about gaudy clothes considering what he is wearing right now.]

I can see that being a bit of a burden..especially in crowded places.

[ He grimaced. ]

Oo, it would be a shame to miss that. I'd feel like royalty.

[ So maybe... on one of those occasions when he was meant to be going home to catch up on sleep he might have taken a longer side route, a happy detour that brought him around to the club instead. Anthony would be two drinks and feeling a good deal less pain when Wei finished his set. ]

[Once done, he takes a few minutes to get cleaned up before heading out onto the floor. He grabs himself a drink and finds Anthony with a bright smile.]

[ Anthony waved lazily over his drink in welcome before pointing at the fruity thing ]

I have no idea what this is but, wow... it's powerful.

That was a good show. I missed the first half of it but that rest, you were good!

[He laughs as he plops down next to him.]

This place likes everything to be flashy. Even its drinks. That one is one of my favorites. I like strong things.

[There might be a slight redness to his cheeks as he gets complimented.]

Thanks. You got to see the best part. The crowd was really into it, which makes me have more energy. Now I get to be paid to drink for the rest of the night.

[Technically his job is to flirt and encourage people to drink more, buy him drinks and spend more money..]

Been there. I sorta miss getting paid to drink with people but...

[ He raised his witches brew to toast Wei in congratulations. ]

I like plants too.

You didn't really tell me about your job much did you?

[Wei Wuxian doesn't have the best of memories and he tries to think back to their last meeting.]
