In the vision I had, there was a giant, floating tree called Yggdrasil. Someone in it said its leaves were responsible for death and rebirth or something. So I looked it up, and it's something from a myth.

I can't stop thinking about it.

A past life. Other worlds. Is the Bureau saying that reincarnation is real?

I'm so confused. I don't know what to tell my mom. She's going to think I'm crazy.

Advice would be great, if anyone has any.

Sorry for the trouble.

You're welcome, of course. Good luck in your research.

It's as good an idea as any! Besides, we're not far enough into our investigation to need specialized information. Unless you're a LOT further along than you were letting on. Let's just start from the bottom and work our way up. And if we need something we don't have, we'll look for it. No need to overcomplicate it, right?

I'd say floating trees would be considered magic, or the place in your memories didn't adhere to physics.

I just want to know who I was talking to.

Trying to be. It's just weird that what I saw reminds me more of some kind of hollywood setup than anything in real life, you know?

More or less whenever, honestly? Sundays are kinda lazy days for me. Laundry can wait, right?

How's early afternoon sound? After lunch, before the evening crowd come in with their coffee and take all the chairs. I don't think we need to actually get to a lot of books or anything, but we'll have access to stuff if we need it.

Yeah. I caught a name, but it's not someone I ever met.

If trees start floating here at least I know who to talk to about that.

Perfect, I'll poke that in a second!

A trident, huh? Yeah, I can do that. I'll probably have my guitar with me, so I should be easy to find, too. I'll see you then, Elliott!

Make sense? That'd be a miracle.

Scatter-brained?

Don't think you're the only one. We might all be feeling that.

Isolating? I hadn't thought of it that way.

I might not be the most social person, but if you don't talk to people who aren't like us, you might miss out on info.

Did they ever explicitly say we have to keep stuff about being Different secret?

Normal people know we exist already.

Secrets are useless.

Man, I dunno, I'm starting to get all conspiracy minded about this shit

Like how did they know so fast?

You won't know till you talk to her.
