So I was really misled by the Netflix series Blown Away. From the title, I really thought it was going to be about something completely different.

It also introduced me to the fact that there is a group of people out there who use the terms "glory hole," "hot glob' for totally different reasons than the rest of us would.

In short, today, I binge-watched Blown Away, and I learned something in the process.

[Of course she's amused. And she knows Anakin. She's also incredibly curious, now, as to what he actually was watching...]

What was the show actually about, if you don't mind my asking?

I did! I mean, c'mon, with a name like that, what else was I supposed to think?

It's a glass blowing competition show.

Did you see anything you liked? Blown glass! [She probably would have, but she's like that, really.]

How have you been? Did you have a busy holiday season?

I don't really know anything about art or glass art so... I don't know.

I don't have any family so I spent the whole holidays over in that ski resort area.

How was your holiday?

Oh. Well, blast, I should have invited you over. It wasn't a huge to-do--I don't speak to most of my former family. But it wasn't bad. [Though she usually has her Christmas dinner catered, because cooking is not high on her list of skills. Or so Yotsuyu would say.]

You don't have to know a lot about art or glass, I certainly don't know much about glass, myself, but I imagine I could find a piece that spoke to me. Somehow. Even if I only was fond of the colors involved, or the shape.

There's always next year.

I guess I just see the artistic design in automobiles and bikes and not... glass, I guess. It looked really difficult to do. I can appreciate the skill it takes.

Would a motorcycle blown entirely of glass not pique your interest? Even a little?

I imagine that would be quite the undertaking, but if they can make one from cake, I imagine it wouldn't be out of the scope of possibility. [Guess who watches all these baking shows, for all her claims that she doesn't watch much television? Yotsuyu does have a sweet tooth, after all...a well-known one.]

I appreciate the skill, too. It's certainly not within my wheelhouse.

You can't ride a motorcycle made out of glass. That seems like a disaster waiting to happen.
