[There are dark circles under his eyes as he turns on the phone, looking like he is ready to punch something.]

Okay...so...I know we are all kind of getting used to the fact that we have these powers. And I admit I was kind of hoping I would be left out of getting too many of them.

[He sighs and pokes at a stuffed animal that has decided to jump up on the bed beside him. Yes...that teddy bear is moving by itself.]

Well...is there anyone out there that isn't afraid of ghosts and might be willing to be a chaperone while I make sure I don't summon a 100 foot marshmallow man?

[That teddy bear suddenly smacks the phone out of his hand and there is a black out for a moment and a small scuffle while he tosses the bear off the bed and reaches down to get the phone. His face comes back into view.]

Yeah, I'm definitely going to need some help before my whole apartment gets overrun by angry stuffed animals. So if there are any takers...let me know.

Yea... I can see that, me getting a frantic 5am message because your pillow decided to suffocate you. Don't you ever speak to any nice spirits?

I can't exactly control who shows up. Basically I put out the call and whatever happens, happens.

But I think most people like that have moved on and their spirits are just roaming around. It's the restless ones that are just waiting for their chance to do something.

So it's basically a chatroom... shit. There's no way to block a bad user?

[He has a small carton of milk at least so he pulls that out and goes in search of a mug.]

Yeah...a chatroom that is open 24 hours and I'm lucky that i have figured out a way to log out once in awhile but have no actual control over who enters.

[ Thumbs up at the milk carton. Smaller is better for kids anyway... if this was actually a kid.]

Maybe it's something you can learn? Or at least call up a few of those psychic hotline people and get a few pointers...

Seriously? Aren't most of those people just scammers?

[He is the last person who should have any sort of doubts about supernatural powers at this moment..]

I wouldn't trust Ms. Cleo... but some of them are real.

I think I'll just deal with this versus trying to find the one person who actually has psychic powers.

[Sets the milk on the table and finds an apple...he really doesn't have any cookies so this snack is going to have to do.]

They would probably charge you anyway.

[ Its not like a demon whose first evil act involved that very fruit could say anything negative about his choice of apple as a snack, instead he looked for the teddy bear which at this very moment appeared to be bouncing on the bed. ]

I don't think it's noticed yet.

I still don't know how it is going to eat...

[Honestly it is going to be a little horrifying to him if it does actually eat or drink.]

Do I just...call it over here? Do I take it to him? I really don't want it eating on my bed.

It's magic. It could have a plushie mouth or... something.

[ It didn't really bare thinking about as his imagination dreamed up all sorts of cthulhu style monster bears whose stomachs opened up to rows of sharp teeth when presented with food. ]

Maybe wear some oven mitts and step back when you call it over to the table?

[He really shouldn't be scared of something that he created but he is still so new to all of this that it still worries him. So he grabs the oven mitts and holds up the carton of milk, whistling towards the bear.]

Hey..spirit! Snack time! Come and get it.

[He puts the milk back down as the bear comes tearing into the kitchen. He backs up in a hurry.]

[ Anthony leaned that little bit closer to the screen of his phone anticipating what might come next. ]

[He watches in horror as he does actually open it's mouth to start chowing down on the apple...but it doesn't appear to have teeth so it is mostly softly gumming it. This actually makes him feel oddly better.]

I'm going to have one soggy bear the minute he grabs that milk...

[He might be inching around to the back side now, eyes trained on that big red design on it's back.]

At least it would only be soggy with milk instead of what kids are usually soggy with...

[ Accidents will happen. ]

Gross...

[He reaches out and grabs a cloth off the counter, which has already been dampened since he had thought he would be able to catch the thing earlier then this.]

Here goes...everything.

[He lunges forward to try and break the seal written on the bears back.]

[ Or so he hoped. ]

[The bear squirms but it only takes breaking a small part of the design for it to go limp. He lowers himself down and sits on the ground in relief.]

Fruits and vegetables were pretty much the only option in this place. I don't cook so easy to grab things are all I have.

[And not too much else he has would have been kid friendly.]

Just glad it was a kid that liked to eat healthy...

[He stands up and tosses the bear into the trash.]

This time it did anyway. These powers are getting a little crazy.

I like mine. It's like... slipping into a comfortable pair of shoes.

[ Which he couldn't help wondering, however briefly, if that was a good thing or a bad thing. ]

What made you decide to try the whole doll possession thing?

[he collapses onto his bed and stares up at the ceiling.]

Well...I wanted to see if it was easier to handle then when I tried it with the talisman. I keep watching myself do all of these things in my memories...terrible things. And I just want to make sure I don't make the same mistakes and this power just...takes me over.

[he's holding onto the person he is now by a thin straw and just praying it doesn't break.]

The guy in my memories isn't a bad guy but he has some terrible luck.

So it's practice? Makes sense. I just thought... well, some people do take up weird hobbies.

Choosing a stuffed bear was better than a steamroller or something that could do you some damage. Maybe next time try a sponge? I doubt it could be as mobile.
