Those two statements from his most recent dream echoed in his mind throughout the day, making him nervous enough to startle when ever his office door had opened or one of the many NYBG gardeners had stepped out of the bushes to ask him a question. It was absolutely ridiculous! His finger drummed on his desk as he settled on a wild contingency plan... The only problem with it was he needed some help to pull it off. ]

I mean he could've been. He's an adult human being just like the rest of us, you know. Not some fragile little twee thing. I've heard him say worse, believe me. ... Just not an expression I'm familiar with, that's all.

[ Then Alec might start finding individual rolls returning in his sock drawer, tucked in the towels in the bathroom, and joining his dinner silver wear like it's a fork. ]

[those same rolls will end up flattened and stuck to Anthony's ceiling where hopefully one lands on his head.]
