[he is on a date. At a restaurant maybe, in a store, walking into or out of a theatre. It is an awkward date from any way you look at it. Either the person is loud, or awkward, or touchy-feely and Alec looks like a mad rabbit ready to bolt at any moment. Whatever moment the camera catches is bound to cause second hand embarrassment.

At some point though during the evening, Alec will find a way to squirrel away from his...other to hiss into the camera:]

[though he meant to send it to Anthony, well, that's not how it turns out]

[ Anthony looked back as Alec climbed onboard and waited for him to settle before kicking the thing into gear. ]

Only fair, since you're buying the drinks.

[ He wasn't taking the hospital bait. What he did do was to take it slow as he peeled out of the parking space. It felt like crawling... Or going backwards... but it was only a short hop over to a café that looked more to Alec's tastes. ]

Easiest things to park in New York though. See? Right out in front!

[ As he spoke he pulled the bike in-between two cars, making them a space where one really shouldn't have been. They fit! This was fine! ]

Can you please stop doing that. [it was giving him the chills] Or at least if you do it, don't lie about it. We both know what you're doing. It's like you think I'm a moron.

[ Have one of those completely blank and mostly innocent looking snake stares... They were of the same sort he used to favor his mum with in order to earn a cookie before dinner that he wasn't usually allowed to have. ]

Happens like second nature now.

It matter? We got a good spot, no one got hurt... Up for that coffee?

Just don't pretend it's not you doing it. And aye. Coffee sounds good, since something stronger is off the menu.
