[the feed comes on and it's shaking. why? because Ellie is holding her mobile in very shaky hands and she wanted to do this over the network rather than chance waking or disturbing her family. if they do see this they're welcome to come find her, but she wouldn't dare inconvenience a soul, not even at a time like this. she's white as a sheet and breathless]

[she presses a shaking hand to her lips and looks around what is most certainly the living room of Crowley's posh flat, for anyone who's seen it before]

I fell asleep watching telly and it was some medical drama, and suddenly it was me on there, as the DS - er, detective, isn't that what you call them? - and there was this EMT. Really handsome. Asked me for a coffee. And I realized I was havin' one of the memories, you know, a new one?

Only ... only ...

[she stops again, pressing her whole hand flat against her mouth this time, as though it'll keep the horror in. as though not saying it will make it go away. a tear slips down her cheek]

... alright, listen, how many've you believe in ghosts?

[ Anthony had just bopped down to the kitchen for a late night sandwich. The TV had been on but he hadn't thought too much of it. His place was a hive of activity since the family had moved in so there were almost always noises of some kind or other. The sobbing though... that drew him away from his ham sandwich and over to the great room. With a pickle still dangling from his mouth he poked his head around the corner just in time to hear that last bit. ]

No way, not in this flat... I paid extra for it to be ghost-free!

[ Tears looked so unnatural on Ellie's cheeks that they drove any teasing from the remark once he saw her face. ]

That must have been some sad movie?
