I have just learned that the architect of the network filter has passed away. This is very unfortunate, I'm truly sorry to hear about it.
Luckily, I had poked around in her systems before this happened. I know you have zero reason to trust me right now, but I assure you, I have as much reason to want this filter to work as you do.
Proof I have recovered the server and taken ownership Basically here I'm creating a new profile and logging into it so I can do whatever
Believe me, if I was an organization of some kind I'd be a lot more useless. We'd be in committee trying to work out whether to recover the filter or not.
I'm willing to at least work with him tentatively. He's proven he was the one who sent the message I shared at the cocktail party, and that he's also the one who sent the deeds.
Yeah, missed the cocktail party and I threw out the bloody deed. I've got a life here, a new boyfriend, a cousin who keeps trying to kill himself... None of this spy crap has anything to do with me.
[ Funny thing was if he were more his demonic self he might actually enjoy the spy games but he isn't there quite yet. ]
I don't see why you even bother to mess with it. Neither the Bureau or this Anonymous have done or said anything relevant to us. Let them squawk at each other if they like.
Don't think that just because someone else there looked almost exactly like you doesn't mean I noticed your absence. Wouldn't have minded your thoughts on it. ... But now I know what they are, so, no damage done.
Personally, I've a few theories about all of this that I'm trying to put together, so keeping up with all of this could be helpful, but ... I can understand why some people would rather distance themselves fr--
I'm sorry. Did you just say Alec tried to kill himself?!
Well... not by throwing himself off a building or anything! He doesn't look after himself. He never eats, never sleeps, he does the most recklessly stupid things he can think of to do... But you're his doctor so you know about all that, right?
[ Who was he kidding, as this was Alec they were talking about he probably hadn't mentioned any of that. ]
Alec never said a word about going to your party. He probably loves all this, getting to dive right into the middle of a detective novel...
[ Anthony wasn't the least bit curious about it! ]
So... what sort of theories did you guys come up with?
[that makes him set his jaw. he knows Alec read him the riot act and said it was his body and his business, but this goes beyond the pale. this is slow suicide. this isn't failure to thrive, but sheer refusal.]
He didn't. ... Didn't mention it OR show up to the party. He likes detective novels, though, does he? Hm.
[then Anthony asks him about the theories, and he chuckles softly. not interested, sure.]
Have you met Dr. Organa, at all? Very bright man, brilliant therapist. We were bouncing around the concept that we could possibly study and treat all this as a medical condition. It follows certain patterns, after all. As for the Bureau, there's still some information to be gathered, there.
[ It was odd if Alec hadn't shown up and yet there had still been some one there that looked like him but, whatever... Bigger issues to tackle. ]
Some information to be gathered you say, that's a hell of an understatement, Doc. We don't know shit about them or this anonymous person. They could be Bureau. There is nothing to say this isn't all a flaming trap.
[ A touch of healthy paranoia that oddly enough lessened around Martin. He just had that sort of kind face. ]
Not so interested in the idea of being anyone's guinea pig either. I don't think you can cure being a demon in fifteen easy steps.
You're right, there's not. It's why I'm still being cautious. And I wasn't about to make anyone a guinea pig, either. Perish the thought. I was simply thinking of maybe drawing up some kind of questionnaire to find our common elements, or any connections. As for doing more research on the Bureau, I'm not sure yet how to do so without actually volunteering for them. And I have a feeling that would be a bad idea.
Better you than some dumb kid, but I don't think they would let you learn anything. You would be doing menial labor, flu shots and mundane things like that. In order to really find out anything some one would have to sneak in and get into their secret files. They must have some.
Files that they wouldn't let someone who was doing menial labor even within twenty yards of, I'd bet. Just because they're incompetent at running a support group doesn't mean they're incompetent at everything.

[ He doesn't though, as he can be a touch reckless but this is what he thinks. ]
It would just be nice if any of you creepy secretive organizations would stop being creepy and organized long enough to tell us ANYTHING!
ooc: assuming this has been text all along, at least on MMF's side
It should have been, yeah

I would put that kind of stuff in a vault. If anyone remembers how to pull off a bank robbery maybe then we can finally get some answers.

[ He typed while trying not to be absolutely charmed that there was some one out there with a movie knowledge vast enough to rival his own. ]
Got any safe cracking skills hidden in that Doctor's bag of yours?
