[The feed clicks on and it's obvious that Wei Wuxian hasn't slept well based on the darkness under his eyes. His hair is a mess and he is clearly not wearing at least a shirt as he just woke up and couldn't even wait to get dressed before wanting to get some closure from what he just saw.]

So..I think I just got my second memory.

[His voice is a little rough, either from the rough night or the emotions of the memory, he isn't sure. He clears his throat and glances back as he hears the movement of sheets on the bed. But the other occupant doesn't seem ready to stir so he continues as he looks back over at the screen.]

It's just as unpleasant as the first..but apparently in my past life I had family. And I get the impression losing them was also my fault.

[He reaches up and rubs his face with his free hand, clearly disturbed by what he saw in his dream. He isn't even in his own apartment right now so he can't find a way to distract himself without finding his clothes and making a quick escape.]

I don't know if I'm strong enough to deal with these kinds of things...has anyone developed or gained a power for wiping memories?

Hey, it's always good to have a necromancer on your side when things take a turn. That's the one thing those zombie movies always lack..a person with some actual working knowledge of the dead.

Looks like I might have to do a horror movie marathon. That way I can be prepared for when I can start calling on these things.

If they had had one maybe those movies wouldn't all have been such tragedies.

We should do that, zombies and ghosts for you, demons for me. Maybe we would both learn something.

Maybe we need to make this into a movie night. Popcorn, beer and all the terrible monster movies we can find. We can call it research.

Well my birthday is on Halloween so make sure you get ready to party this year.

But looks like the horror movies will have to be earlier this year so we can be ready when we start getting all..powery.

Sure! The more the merrier! Watching scary movies is always better in a group.

It is. Especially if you have some one in the group who gets scared easily. A good well placed scream can really set the mood!

I'm sure there might be others that are down for it as well. Depending on the size of the group we would have to figure out an appropriate place to do it.

Yeeaaah. My flat could hold two or three but if we are talking about making this a party maybe we should rent out a small theater. Hire some caterers. Might be cool to see these old movies up on the big screen.

Ahhh a movie theater would be great! And they would already have the concession stands! I don't suppose we know any of us that work in a theater...

Sure but unless we found a specialty theater they might not serve beer or wine. I can do some digging, find a decent sized place, unless you know of one already?

I'm sure there is some really underground old theater that would let people do stuff like that. I can ask around. Especially around the old off broadway area. If we can find one that is super spooky it would add even more to the ambiance.

Just don't overdue the spooky. I don't mind a few cobwebs but I don't want a cloud of dust puff up and drown me if I go to sit in one of the chairs.

[ He then collected his wallet and counted out enough cash for the drinks and a good tip for the staff. ]

Crashing sounds good to me, unfortunately I have a few errands to do today. You will take care of yourself?

[ This felt almost too altruistic for a demon, but whatever he was still more human than not so Anthony made the offer. ]

[He smiles and gives Anthony's shoulder a pat. He's not used to people worrying over him but he certainly appreciates it. He can't hep toss a little tease into it though.]

[He stands up, finishing the last of his drink. He feels a little better and he knows that having some human contact with someone who understands was a significant improvement over going straight home to dwell on it alone.]

[ DAD!?! His inner rebel recoiled at the notion he was old enough to be Wei's dad! He wasn't THAT old or THAT responsible! It was a fluke!

But outwardly he just pushed himself away from the table and stood up to go and just in time as a car pulled up to the curb outside. ]
