[The feed clicks on and it's obvious that Wei Wuxian hasn't slept well based on the darkness under his eyes. His hair is a mess and he is clearly not wearing at least a shirt as he just woke up and couldn't even wait to get dressed before wanting to get some closure from what he just saw.]

So..I think I just got my second memory.

[His voice is a little rough, either from the rough night or the emotions of the memory, he isn't sure. He clears his throat and glances back as he hears the movement of sheets on the bed. But the other occupant doesn't seem ready to stir so he continues as he looks back over at the screen.]

It's just as unpleasant as the first..but apparently in my past life I had family. And I get the impression losing them was also my fault.

[He reaches up and rubs his face with his free hand, clearly disturbed by what he saw in his dream. He isn't even in his own apartment right now so he can't find a way to distract himself without finding his clothes and making a quick escape.]

I don't know if I'm strong enough to deal with these kinds of things...has anyone developed or gained a power for wiping memories?

[Anakin understood how the emotions from one's second life memories could bleed over into this world. Sometimes he woke up panicked because of what he had seen or experienced in his memories... Not to mention Ben's scars just randomly showing up.]

Okay... I've been thinking a lot about this 'cause my own memories and all. But... Okay? Maybe we are the people in our memories? But we've all also been living a whole other life- right now. That's how many years of another actual, lived experience? That doesn't just go away because we get some other memories of another life.

You've made a million choices to be who you are right now. And you'll continue to make a million more choices to be who you'll become.

You still get to make those choices.

[He listens silently and nods in understanding as he lets those thoughts roll around in his head. It makes sense and he certainly hopes that those are the facts that will stay with him. He doesn't want to think that remembering these things will change who he is..especially if it changes him into something he doesn't like.]

I hope you are right..I know I can't really make any assumptions considering I've only had two of these. I don't feel any differently..okay that's a lie. I'm slightly more afraid of my mental state and why I have these things. But that's not really the same. If I ever start making some really odd choices..make sure you knock some sense into me with that arm.

[He decides to lighten his own mood a little and a small smile comes to the corners of his lips.]

How many of these rotten memories do you think I have to get through before I get to some really good and saucy ones?

[Anakin was following until that last bit. Because he wasn't uninterested in hearing about someone wanting sex dreams, nor remembered saying he was open to discussing that. Helping someone process the question of 'why' was not the same as inviting them to share their sex fantasies with him.]

Could you tell if your memories were consecutive. Or were they out of order?

[Right now he wouldn't necessarily care about a sexual dream as perhaps one involving running happily through a field of flowers. Anything besides war, fighting and death. Something pleasant so he can forget all the other bad ones. Certainly his entire past life wasn't all doom and gloom...]

Hard to say..In the first one, the guys wearing red were attacking the ones wearing purple. In the second one I didn't see any of the red..so maybe those guys were defeated and this was taking place later? But that's a guess at best.

Anakin thought about that for a moment and then dug back into his pancakes.

"Do you feel like you're a part of either army?"

He considers that and then gives a shake of his head. "I feel like I was on my own side. That everyone was there because they were all combined in a force against me."

Which makes him have a really bad feeling in the pit of his stomach. "But doesn't it seem like overkill to bring in an army to fight one man?"
