I wish it as good as a Fast and Furious movie! No, it was the sequel to that terrible Disney film Cars that was heavily marketed just to sell crappy toy cars with eyes.

That's fine. Getting arrested isn't really my thing either.

Even with a good cause, I think I'd rather get the heck out of dodge than have to deal with cops.

Depends. Certainly being arrested is not ideal, but sometimes standing up for something results in an arrest. Unfortunately, humanity being what it is, we would not have many of our civil liberties if not for people willing to risk arrest (or worse) to achieve them.

I WANT to be involved, though. I don't want to leave something important like this to everyone else, not if there's something I can do to help. I want to be responsible for protecting myself! And I'm kinda tired of breaking down when things go south.

So I'll let him take care of the specialist stuff, but let me help. Somehow. Anything, even if it's small. I'll worry no matter what, but after last week, I don't wanna leave one big target visible.

Spoiler alert: They're going to assume it's all of us anyway, even if it ends up being just one person. I think my run-in with an Old Friend recently proved just that.

That's fair. I'm kinda gonna be... looking to actually start working over the summer. Maybe even just doing volunteer work at animal shelters if I can't get anything paid. Kris thinks it's a good idea.

I'm sure you could find a paid position if you wanted. There's lots of openings around. I think I'm gonna see about getting a job, too.

We'll see. I really want to help foster kittens, but that's not generally a job you get paid to do, and it costs a lot of money. Less if you're not handling immediate newborns, but I dunno, that would be so much fun!
