[There are dark circles under his eyes as he turns on the phone, looking like he is ready to punch something.]

Okay...so...I know we are all kind of getting used to the fact that we have these powers. And I admit I was kind of hoping I would be left out of getting too many of them.

[He sighs and pokes at a stuffed animal that has decided to jump up on the bed beside him. Yes...that teddy bear is moving by itself.]

Well...is there anyone out there that isn't afraid of ghosts and might be willing to be a chaperone while I make sure I don't summon a 100 foot marshmallow man?

[That teddy bear suddenly smacks the phone out of his hand and there is a black out for a moment and a small scuffle while he tosses the bear off the bed and reaches down to get the phone. His face comes back into view.]

Yeah, I'm definitely going to need some help before my whole apartment gets overrun by angry stuffed animals. So if there are any takers...let me know.

[He shakes his head.] I used to be able to summon them but I couldn't actually put them into physical things. That part of it is new. I can do a lot of things but I'm not particularly good at any of them.

[He gets flashes of memories using these abilities but nothing comes with an instruction manual. he's still waiting for the moment when he is magically an expert at all this necromancy crap.]

That's ... certainly something. And it isn't like there's, what, a YouTube tutorial to follow on it or a Ghosts For Dummies book, is there? ... What're you going to do? Just ... practice on small things until you figure it out?

I guess I'll have to. Or hope that in one of these memories maybe I'm learning how to do it, or showing someone how to do it. I can't possibly have just learned this kind of thing over night.

[His mind is his own Ghosts for Dummies. He just has to find the key to unlocking it.]

That's a fair point. ... It's too bad there isn't a way to choose to get these memories in some kind of order. It's like a puzzle, but with no box to show us what kind of picture we're supposed to end up with.

I think my pieces got knocked on the ground and thrown across the room. Because there has definitely not been any clear timeline. One minute I'm using a sword, the next minute a flute.

[And somewhere in the middle he learned how to control these ghosts.]
