[it startles her too, and she actually squeaks as though it had been a mouse or a spider ... but to her credit, she recovers quickly, getting down another cup - the smallest she can find in the cabinet so it won't have trouble holding it]

[she pours it the little cup and sets it on the table, pulling out a chair.]
