Okay...so...I know we are all kind of getting used to the fact that we have these powers. And I admit I was kind of hoping I would be left out of getting too many of them.

[He sighs and pokes at a stuffed animal that has decided to jump up on the bed beside him. Yes...that teddy bear is moving by itself.]

Well...is there anyone out there that isn't afraid of ghosts and might be willing to be a chaperone while I make sure I don't summon a 100 foot marshmallow man?

[That teddy bear suddenly smacks the phone out of his hand and there is a black out for a moment and a small scuffle while he tosses the bear off the bed and reaches down to get the phone. His face comes back into view.]

Yeah, I'm definitely going to need some help before my whole apartment gets overrun by angry stuffed animals. So if there are any takers...let me know.

Well I would have thought the not dying thing would be easy. But the more powers I get, the more unsure of that I become.

Not yet...well...subtract the fact that the bear was definitely aiming for my head with some of the stuff it was throwing.

But I've seen the one in my memories have trouble controlling them and it's like he loses himself for a moment. I want to avoid that.

It might help if you can remember why he lost himself.

There was one conversation he had...someone warned him that playing with resentful energy will change his heart and who he is. So it's like he had moments where the energy he was trying to use was getting the better of him.

[ Anthony took on a deep thoughtful frown. ]

I just wonder how many more of these powers are going to come back to me. Am I really going to get everything that he had?

There's no way to tell. I don't know that anyone remembers everything... And it's not like the Bureau would tell us if they knew.

It would be nice if they were more forthcoming...but I imagine they don't really know the answer either.

[His nerves are definitely shot and he looks even more rattled as he ushers her inside and shuts the door tightly behind her, clicking the lock in place so that the bear doesn't try to figure out how to open it.]

I'm not sure I want this thing around long enough to read a book but maybe we can put it to sleep with it.

[He smiles, clearly giving her a grateful expression as he takes the latte and guides her further inside.]

I appreciate this. I'm not sure how much longer I could chase him around.

That sounds like absolute bullshit. [not that he disbelieves him but that's what it sounds like. He hisses as those fingers find the bruise.]

[He pouts playfully and gives a little wink as he goes to head to the kitchen to get the ice.]

That's too bad. I look really cute in a nurse outfit. It shows off my legs.

[And as a dancer he has nice strong legs. whether the part about the design is bullshit or not...well he is hoping it works that way at least. It seemed to in his memories.]

[he is a little uncomfortable being left in the dark bedroom so he stumbles his way out into the sitting room, flopping ungracefully into a chair and wincing]

[He shakes his head at him stumbling out of the bedroom. So much for not moving the wounded. He brings the ice pack over and hands it to him. He then goes back and brings some bottled water for both of them as well before sitting down.]

[she's scanning the apartment, looking for signs of the possessed stuffie, but also low-key checking out his taste in decorating as well. what, she's curious, and how a person keeps their space says a lot about them]

[Wei Wuxian is a minimalist. Not used to having any money so he has never thought much about having a lot of furniture. So other then the basics the apartment is fairly spacious and bare. Even the decorations on the wall are minimal but the overall color scheme is black and red.]

I guess it would make sense considering how it is acting. But if it is it wasn't a very well behaved kid. I think it's currently hiding somewhere in the kitchen.

[she makes note of his color scheme for possible future gift ideas as she slides out of her slushy shoes. then, carefully, Ellie pads toward the kitchen, cooing]

[He follows and looks around the room, not sure where the thing is hiding at the moment but there is a rustling sound in one of the lower cabinets.]

There is probably some cookies in one of the cabinets too.
