Part of my new year's resolutions is to work on being more responsible so I think I might get a plant.

What is the best plant for someone who knows nothing about them other than they probably need sunlight and water?

Can you grow a dandelion in a pot? Those are resilient, right?

Well, sort've? They don't need to be put in soil, they get all their food and moisture out've the air. So people put them in all sorts of things. Shells, little glass globes. All you do is mist them with a spray bottle once a week or so and keep them in the sun, and they're not too expensive.

If I ever run into a magic plant, you'll be the first one I tell, then. :) Really tho, they're easy to take care of, might be a good first try.

They're all different types of air plant - same care for all of them, I'm pretty sure. I know the gift shop at the Botanical Gardens has them, but that's mostly because of how often I go bother my cousin.

Anthony Crowley. He's not a manager or anything, he just works there.

[Anthony is, decidedly, an acquired taste. as is her stepbrother. she gets it. no offense taken]

I can try to find you one myself if you like. I've got half-shift today, wouldn't be a problem.

Oh right, right! Sorry, dear. Didn't mean to step on your toes. I'm just predisposed to help, I guess.
