[Clarence has mounted his phone camera in such a way that the feed is focused on a desk where a piece of plain lined paper rests. Clarence’s hand enters the frame and he poises it over the paper. Slowly, he marks out several small, horizontal lines and divides them with a slashes. Then he speaks:]

Anyone want to play Hangman? The hint is “official title.”

[Status of man: alive! He has been saved! However there is now a long horizontal line as the base of the scaffolding with a vertical line shooting up from the middle and another horizontal line hanging off the top; the scaffold is complete. There is also a small line hanging down from the top, and a round circle is attached. Things were getting grim for the condemned man, but he is now FREE!.]

[Clarence adds a few notes at the bottom:]

And it looks like someone else has solved the puzzle! Though who exactly is this 'Lord of Chaos'? It sounds like a character from a comic book or video game.

It's a phrase I heard in one of my memory dreams. Trying to figure it out myself.

Hmm... well, then I wish you luck in that. Thankfully Elliot has been kind enough to lend me a hand with the few mysterious terms I've encountered in my own memories, since he's remembered a great deal more than I have.

Yeah, you're lucky you have each other. As far as I know, no one I've seen in my memories has surfaced but... maybe that's a good thing.

Perhaps. Or perhaps not; even our own past memories can only be seen from one perspective. There could be a great deal that our past selves missed that someone else might shed light on.

... You know, that's kinda understated around here, but it makes sense. I mostly feel like I'm in danger or, at the very least, that I need to defend myself in my memories. Some may be less deserving of that, I don't know, but I don't have the full picture on most of them yet.

Maybe I'm looking for answers to the wrong things right now.

I don't think any of us really have a full picture of our past memories yet, which makes figuring anything out for certain somewhat difficult at this point. Until we get more answers, we can't even be certain we're asking the right questions.
