Arright, my outlet converter has gone missing. Might've fallen out on the ride from the airport.

How am I supposed to charge my mobile now? I rather need it if I'm going to start looking for a new ... everything.

[there's a pause as the fresh face takes a deeeeep breath and exhales slowly, before smiling]

Right, I'm sorry, that's the absolute wrong way to go about introductions, isn't it? Hullo, my name's Ellie, and I just started getting these ... other memory things. I still feel daft saying it. But I don't suppose any of you have any advice for someone needing a flat here in the city? Apartment. You call them apartments here. I bake. I cook. I'll pay you in food. I'll walk your dogs. I don't know. I'll something.

Oh, how sweet of you. I'm afraid I don't have much in the way of advice. If Ms. Naeuri happens upon this, you may want to ask her; I believe she works in real estate and may be able to suggest resources. I haven't looked for an apartment in years.

What an awful way to arrive in the States, though. My sympathies. I do hope Mr. Martin wasn't any more, ah, charming than usual.

Hey! Lisa. Pleased to meet you, and welcome! I don't really have any advice on an apartment - I already live with a roommate who is probably going to get suspicious of me one of these days. I might have an extra phone charger, though, if you find somewhere to stop long enough to plug in? Not that those are as hard to come by as an apartment, but it's something!

Hello~! Welcome to New York! I'm a transplant too, I understand how hard it is to get your bearings in a new country.

[It's that familiar, but far too friendly, face again. He has the audacity to wave in an amiable manner. He looks to be in an office of some sort, rather than a living space. There's a couple of degrees on the wall and a bunch of books.]

Whereabouts in the city are you looking to move? I don't know much outside of northwest Manhattan, but I can get you around, show you the tube routes, where to get a converter. You might also just need to see about getting a...hang on! Wait!

[He vanishes for a moment, leaning down to the side as he rummages for something. He's muttering to himself as he looks for several seconds, then finally -]

Nope...no, oh, hey, was looking for that! No...aha! Yes!

[He sits up, holding a converter in his hand. He looks pleased with himself.]

I just happen to have a spare. Happy to drop it off somewhere for you. I'm John, by the way. I think we spoke in passing before?
