Does anyone know how to fix (or install a new) metal spiral stairs?

If I had to assess which is more likely, I'm thinking I need new stairs.

I think this is one of those subjects where a motherly "I don't want to know how you did it" will suffice... [She's grateful, now, that Elliott isn't quite like this...]

I do not know how to fix those things myself, no, but if you need supplies or a handyman or three to repair them, I can give you a list of names and places to inquire. They will be fairly priced, but not cheap, if you get my meaning.

[And if he doesn't, she's not talking expensive to pay for. The construction and/or materials will be quality. Her boss deals in nothing less.]

[Really, she does treat the people at this home improvement store well, when she's the one dealing with them, so things should go smoothly.] I'll send you the address, you should be able to find it on a map app, and if you haven't a way to have your supplies delivered, they've got a service for that.

[The lack of car or license doesn't seem to disturb her terribly, considering where most of the Different seem to live--she herself hasn't got a car, though she's maintained her license. It's just not easy to keep a car in New York...]

They will want to make sure you are who you say you are...

I have I.D. I just medically am not allowed to drive. Having only one hand will do that to you.

That does make sense, I suppose. Though I'd thought they had had prosthesis that could allow you to drive...still, that's none of my business. No, they shall do their best to help you and deliver. I imagine they'd want to drive you home, as well. That way they know they're going to the proper place.

Yes! You can get prosthetics to make up some of the difference. But you still need your health care team to sign off getting a license. Which is the part I'm working on.
