[The feed clicks on and it's obvious that Wei Wuxian hasn't slept well based on the darkness under his eyes. His hair is a mess and he is clearly not wearing at least a shirt as he just woke up and couldn't even wait to get dressed before wanting to get some closure from what he just saw.]

So..I think I just got my second memory.

[His voice is a little rough, either from the rough night or the emotions of the memory, he isn't sure. He clears his throat and glances back as he hears the movement of sheets on the bed. But the other occupant doesn't seem ready to stir so he continues as he looks back over at the screen.]

It's just as unpleasant as the first..but apparently in my past life I had family. And I get the impression losing them was also my fault.

[He reaches up and rubs his face with his free hand, clearly disturbed by what he saw in his dream. He isn't even in his own apartment right now so he can't find a way to distract himself without finding his clothes and making a quick escape.]

I don't know if I'm strong enough to deal with these kinds of things...has anyone developed or gained a power for wiping memories?

Not sure I'm going to be so lucky. The Bureau probably wouldn't want anyone with an ability to get rid of these memories.

Ah well..he did. But I kind of brushed him off as some weird dude spouting nonsense. I mean..who really believes in repressed memories? Plus I was on my way to work so I didn't really have time for his whole crazy talk. Apparently he reached out to some of the people he saw as troublemakers recently..

I heard about that! I was out of town at the time those things happened. I wonder if I would have ended up getting a talking-to too, if I'd been around.

I don't know that one night stands should be privy to crazy past memories. He'll probably be asleep for awhile but..

[The key to a good one night stand is making sure you don't have it in your own place so you can make a quick and quiet getaway. Once all his food and belongings are found he gets cleaned up and dressed in record time and heads to the address he was given.

He pops into the diner and looks around. It is fairly quiet as promised so that works out well.]

[Anakin was already at the diner and had grabbed a booth towards the back.

He called out Wei's name and waved him over.]

[He spots him and walks back there, giving a small wave with a friendly smile. He might not generally like to communicate on the network but it does make it easy to hook up with people willing to listen. He slides into the booth.]

Hope you didn't have to wait too long.

Nah [Anakin waves off the concern.

Just then a server came over to take their order]

Do you wanna look at the menu?

[He could wait. But if Wei was ready, Anakin was too.]

You said they have good pancakes so I'm ready to give them a try. I'll take two of those, some toast and a water to drink.

[He definitely has an appetite despite the crazy memory that plagued his sleep last night.]

[Anakin placed his order: pancakes, scrambled eggs, and rootbeer. Then the server left.]
